ALBANY, Georgia –
Jamey Loud, reimbursable distribution process worker supervisor at Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Albany, Ga., was named Employee of the Quarter for the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2015.
Loud’s division is responsible for the preservation, packing and shipment of all of Marine Corps Logistics Command, Albany’s small arms and controlled cryptographic materials. During the fourth quarter, his employees packed and processed over 300 weapons shipments to warfighters both CONUS and OCONUS.
All shipments were verified and packed correctly with no errors. Loud ensured the quality performance was accomplished by utilizing a full range of distribution services to provide seamless and efficient logistical support.
Additionally, Loud is responsible for DLA Distribution Albany’s receipt induction, kitting and box fabrication areas. The team processed more than 4,000 receipts, built almost 400 kits and nearly 3,000 wooden and cardboard containers.
