McMullen joined DLA Distribution in December 2008 as a supervisory management specialist for the Commander's Initiative Group.  Within six months, she was selected as the DLA Distribution deputy director of Strategic Plans, where she served until she assumed the position of chief, Office of Corporate Planning and Communications, directing strategic and workforce planning efforts, as well as providing strategic communications guidance and executing the corporate business planning process.

In her current position, she leads all DLA Distribution efforts relative to workforce planning and development in support of organizational requirements.  She provides oversight and guidance on all efforts pertaining to personnel readiness for 6,800 civilian and 345 military active duty/reservist personnel.   Her efforts include a strong focus on career progression, leadership and workforce development, functional community management and succession planning.

She has received the Under Secretary of the Navy Beacon Team Award, DLA Humanitarian Service Team Award in support of Operation United Assistance, the DLA Meritorious Civilian Service Award, Navy Meritorious Civilian Service Award and the NAVSUP Supervisor/Team Lead of the Year Award.  She holds a bachelor's degree in Statistics from West Virginia University, and a master's degree from Penn State University in Public Administration.  She was a member of DLAMP and the NAVSUP's Corporate Management Development Program.

“Ms. McMullen will be a great asset to our enterprise. Her credentials and experience have provided her the know-how, sound judgment, and competence to make NAVSUP's Corporate Operations tremendously successful,” said NAVSUP commander Navy Rear Adm. Jonathan Yuen.
