PUGET SOUND, Washington –
Lula A. Lacy, management support assistant for DLA Distribution, was announced as one of the DLA Employees of the Quarter for the 1st Quarter of fiscal 2016.
Through her meticulous attention to detail, Lacy, who works at DLA Distribution Puget Sound, Wash., validated and reviewed more than 18,000 receipt documents against the Materiel Movement Document for accuracy and submitted documents for the file process with no discrepancies. She processed more than 6,000 trigger requisitions and 1,000 DLA Disposition Services documents, eliminating the administrative burden on warehouse personnel and streamlining the process.
Lacy's exceptional contributions to materiel management integrity and materiel receiving processes contributed to warfighter support and mission readiness.
She was also named DLA Distribution’s Employee of the Quarter for first quarter, fiscal year 2016.
