Defense Logistics Agency Distribution headquarters hosted a cake walk and noisy auction to raise money for the Combined Federal Campaign last week.

On Dec. 9, employees gathered in the lobby of the headquarters building to participate in a cake walk. In a game much like musical chairs, employees walked around a circle in time to music. When the music stopped a number was called out, and the person standing on that number won the baked good of their choice from the table.

Distribution headquarters employees donated an assortment of baked items for the event. Participants in the event made a monetary donation which went to the CFC.

Additionally, a noisy auction was held on Dec. 11. Donations ranged from hunting items and gift baskets to a watercolor painted by Distribution’s own Chief Integration Officer, Perry Knight.

Each event drew a number of participants and successfully raised over $900 for the FY16 Combined Federal Campaign.
