Excess DOW Property Disposal

DLA is responsible for disposal of excess Department of War personal property, foreign excess personal property, scrap, hazardous waste, and property requiring demilitarization.

Formerly known as Defense Reutilization Marketing Office or DRMO, DLA Disposition Services is prepared to assist you in completing necessary documents, arranging for disposal solutions, and training your personnel in disposal turn-in procedures.

Property Search

As a source of supply, DLA Disposition Services' Reutilization, Transfer, and Donation (RTD) programs offer a wide variety of serviceable property for reutilization, transfer, or donation to DoW units and other additional agencies. RTD program customers can reduce procurement costs and enhance their training requirements through reutilized property.

DEMIL - Demilitarization

This three-day Defense Demilitarization (DEMIL ) Program Course (DDPC) is "mandatory" for Department of War (DOW) component personnel involved with the DOW DEMIL program.
