Registering for RTD Web – CAC User
These instructions are for users who use a Common Access Card (CAC) rather than a User Email and Password.
Log into the Okta Portal
To begin with RTD, start with navigating to the Okta Portal.

Select “Sign in with PIV / CAC card” and select your certificate when prompted. The Okta Portal will load.
*Note: If you receive an error “Certificate validation failed. Choose another certificate and try again,” then contact the DISA Service Desk to sync the EDIPI number. The EDIPI is the number on the back of the CAC/PIV and is a field within AMPS. The DISA Service Desk is a required step to get the EDIPI number to sync. Email address: disa.global.servicedesk.mbx.dla-ticket-request@mail.mil or by Phone: 844-347-2457 and press 5, then 352# for DLA, follow the prompts for AMPS.

Log into RTD Web.
Once the Okta Portal has loaded, select the “RTD” tile.
* The displayed tiles are based on your approved roles in AMPS. If you do not have the “RTD” tile, then follow STEP 1 instructions to log into AMPS and request the required role.

Read the User Agreement and select “Ok.”

Select “Sign in with PIV / CAC card” and select your certificate when prompted. RTD will load.

Request applicable role in RTD Web.
The first-time logging into RTD, you’ll need to request the applicable role. Select “Request Role.”

From the “Application” drop-down, select the application you require. Military customers (including DoD employees and contractors) select “Department of Defense (DOD).”
Next, from the “Role” drop-down, select the role you require. If you are not an Accountable Supply Officer (ASO) then select “DOD Screener.”
*Note: Do NOT select “DOD ASO” if you are not authorized to do so. If you are not sure, contact your chain of command first.
Select “Submit.”

Complete the role request by inputting all required fields. Ensure all of your information is correct, to include an Authority Code: 00 Requisitoner DODAAC, then select “Submit.”
*Note: If you don’t know the Authority Code on your DODAAC, validate it on the DoDAAD portal.
*Role requests that do not include a DODAAC or a DODAAC with a different Authority Code will be denied.

The role request has been submitted for review. You will receive an email when it has been approved or disapproved.
Once your RTD Web role request is approved, you will need to log back into RTD starting with logging into the Okta Portal.
After you are logged in, you will see “DOD” has been added to the left-hand side of RTD Web. You are now ready to begin screening for property.
If your role is disapproved, you will be provided with rejection comments in an email and RTD Web.
⚠️ Note on Security Settings for Non-Secure Networks
If you are logging in from a non-secure or public network (e.g., home internet or hotel Wi-Fi), you may need to adjust your browser’s privacy or security settings:
• Allow pop-ups and JavaScript for the OKTA portal site
• Add the OKTA portal URL to your browser’s “Trusted Sites” or “Allowed Sites”
• Clear your browser cache and cookies
• Try using a different browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, etc.)
