Shown is an AIDCO model 450 transmission dynamometer installed at the Ohio Army National Guard’s Combined Support Maintenance Shop on Defense Supply Center Columbus. To run the test the transmission subassembly is mounted on the dynamometer and a short lever allows technicians to manually shift gears between park, reverse neutral and drive. Other connections allow control and data signals to pass between the control console and the transmission.
