Marine Corps Maj. Gen. Peter Talleri, retired, was Defense Logistics Agency Distribution’s 7th commander, leading the command from 2008-2010. Talleri always led from the front. The innovations he implemented at DLA Distribution, and the significant improvements he brought to our supply chains, enabled DLA to optimize its global distribution system. He increased logistics excellence and maximized warfighting capability and efficiency. He led his staff to enhance mission partnerships and raise readiness, sustainability, and accountability. As a result, DLA maintained its world-class support to Warfighters and built upon its reputation as a vital player in Defense logistics.
