Defense Logistics Agency Columbus Fire and Emergency Services members paid a visit to the Child Development Center Oct. 10 with special guest and mascot Sparky the Fire Dog. Sparky is a fan favorite for the children of the CDC and his presence helped relax the children when they saw the fully dressed firefighter. The goal of having a fully dressed firefighter present during the fire prevention week activities at the CDC is to make sure the children know what FES members will look like when they come to help.
