    The Leadership Development Council is committed to fostering leadership and critical decision-making skills by providing the DLA Land and Maritime workforce with continuous learning opportunities through education forums, networking and professional events.
  • Supervisor Council

    The Supervisor Council provides and environment where supervisors can come together to share ideas, resolve problems and to discuss current topics, which affect the DLA Land and Maritime leadership community.
  • Training Council

    The Training Council is chartered to evaluate, recommend and coordinate on training and development issues and initiatives at DLA Land and Maritime.
  • Wellness Council

    The Wellness Council is a forum in which members share ideas, examine issues or concerns and discuss current topics relating to the effective mitigation of Wellness Council issues and customer support.

DSCC Toastmasters Clubs to host joint meeting, competition March 31
DLA Land and Maritime EEO Specialist Michael McCoy speaks during a Toastmaster International Club 3500 meeting inside the operations center at Defense Supply Center Columbus. The installation is home to three Toastmasters clubs and each promotes resiliency through engaging associates to become more confident communicators.
March 26, 2021 - The Defense Supply Center Columbus is home to three Toastmasters International Clubs and this week anyone assigned to the installation will have the opportunity to see how Toastmasters may benefit them when the three clubs host a joint meeting and competition.

March 26, 2021 - Defense Supply Center Columbus celebrated its Women’s History Month Program virtually March 24 and featured Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime Commander Navy Rear Adm. Kristen Fabry as its guest speaker. The event was live streamed and the theme for this year’s program was Making Monumental History in 2021.

Feb. 23, 2021 - The Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime recognizes Black History Month in February. This year’s national theme is The Black Family: Representation, Identification, Diversity. The African American Employment Program highlights employees throughout the month in honor of their enduring contributions to the agency’s global mission of logistics support to America’s warfighters.

African American History Month highlights Hanford Village as Hidden Gem
Hanford Village was marketed to middle class African Americans as an opportunity to buy newly constructed quality housing. After World War II, a subdivision of Hanford became a segregated community for returning African American veterans to settle using the G.I. Bill.
Feb. 10, 2021 - The Defense Supply Center Columbus’ Office of Equal Employment Opportunity and Diversity and the African American Employment Program commemorate Black History Month with a two-part series recognizing Hanford Village, a hidden gem in our local community. This year’s national theme is “The Black Family: Representation, Identity, Diversity.” Part I of this series focuses on the representation of the Black Family in Hanford Village and the impact of zoning on the community.
