DLA Distribution commander delivers Martin Luther King, Jr. Day message
NEW Cumberland, Pa. — On Monday, January 15, we honor and celebrate the legacy of the civil rights leader, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The federal holiday commemorates Dr. King’s contributions to the fight against racial segregation and his dream of a society based on equality and justice.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Martin Luther King Jr. Day is Jan. 15. In honor of Dr. King’s fight for freedom, justice and equality and his allegiant service to mankind, the Defense Federal Community gathered to celebrate his life and legacy during a special program Jan. 10 at the Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime Operations Center.

NEW CUMBERLAND, Pa. — Each year, on the third Monday in January, the Department of Defense joins the nation in honoring the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. by making the holiday a day of community service—“A Day On, Not A Day Off.” This year, the Martin Luther King Jr. Day of service will be recognized on Monday, January 18, 2021.

Richmond, Va — The legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr. is multifaceted, but one of his lasting messages has been one of public service.
