If you are ordering through FEDMALL and the item has an NSN, you do not need an 889. All of the vendors have been vetted and are on contract with the United States Government. When you look up the item on FEDMALL, it will have a green icon with 889 and a check mark in it. This shows that the vendor is 889 compliant.

If you need help with this, please do not hesitate to contact me.
There is not currently an NSN for a Memorial Stand. It is something we are working on with Futures Command and others.
Most units will purchase a Memorial Stand through a local woodworker, as most Memorial Stands are personalized to the unit.

How do I get access to excess inventory?
DOD customers can search DLA Disposition Services inventory by gaining access to the RTD Website.
To utilize RTD programs, RTD customers must register in the AMPS website in order to request a user account and password to search and requisition from the excess property inventory. Users can find assistance and instructions for registering in AMPS and RTD Web through the Digital DSR. Here is the link to the Digital DSR. https://www.dla.mil/ddsr/ There is a wealth of information on this page that will assist them through the whole process.
Once they have gained access to our website, they will be able to search our inventory for items they are looking for.
They can search for Federal Stock Class, Item Name, National Stock Number, or even just a key word search.
If they are not finding what they need, there is the ability to build a want list that will notify them when that particular item hits our inventory. This is all explained on the “Digital DSR” webpage.
I have looked up the Federal Stock Class for Ecclesiastical supplies and it is 9925. So when the customer gains access to RTD Web, that is one of the ways they should search for property.
If you have any further questions please feel free to contact me, I would be happy to assist.
