Maintaining a balance: agencies celebrate Women’s Equality Day

Fort Belvoir, Virginia — The Defense Technical Information Center, along with other McNamara Headquarters Complex tenant organizations, hosted a panel discussion in commemoration of Women’s Equality Day, Aug. 22 in the HQC’s Kabeiseman Center.

PHILADELPHIA — An actress portraying Susan B. Anthony during a Women's Equality Day event explained that while the 13th, 14th and 15th Amendments would have collectively granted women the right to vote, Anthony and other American women were still denied this right.
