Contract oversight visit brings former sailor back aboard
BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — Erik Rundquist, a contracting officer with Defense Logistics Agency Disposition Services, recently traveled to Japan to coordinate the award of a regional hazardous materials removal contract. The trip provided Rundquist a chance to put his military service into perspective, as he once served as a U.S. Navy sailor for three years aboard USS Warrior (MCM-10) and had the opportunity to go back aboard the ship in Sasebo. Erik shared some of his personal thoughts on the visit.
