Disposal property specialists help meet needs for critical pandemic supplies

FORT BELVOIR, Va. — Property disposal specialists like Jennifer Lobello and Carol Fix have provided over $40 million worth of excess property to aid in military and federal agencies’ response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Partner agencies receive $18 million in supplies during pandemic response

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — As autumn approaches, DLA Disposition Services continues its support of pandemic response by supplying the armed forces and first responders with a variety of materials. “We’ve recently exceeded a total of $18 million in excess and surplus supplies and equipment provided to customers for COVID-19 relief efforts,” said DLA Disposition Services Director Mike Cannon.

DLA sends more protective equipment to Pacific troops

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — Marine Corps units on Okinawa get 150k surgical masks from the agency's surplus stock.

DLA, DTRA offers excess protective suits for COVID-19 with help from Marine Corps

ALBANY, Georgia — More than 40,000 protective suits earmarked for military response to chemical and biological hazards have been redirected to protect those battling COVID-19 after joint efforts by the Defense Logistics Agency, Defense Threat Reduction Agency and Marine Corps Logistics Command.
