MCCONNELL AIR FORCE BASE, Kan. — Logistics In Action: Article originally appeared on the McConnell Air Force Base website — As outdated office furniture and equipment reaches the end of its life cycle, 22nd Logistics Readiness Squadron flight services center uses the disposition services to maximize supplies that can be repurposed.

A former Navy utility boat arrives in New London, Connecticut, via tractor-trailer Nov. 30. Two surplus boats will be used to ferry passengers between historical sites along the Thames River as part of the new "Thames River Heritage Park" effort there.

Agency helps Connecticut towns realize a long-time dream
