InSPIRE participants give back to local children’s hospitals

By John Dwyer III DLA Troop Support Corporate Communications

Participants in a Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support mentoring program assembled 96 activity bags for patients of two local children’s hospitals after a mentoring session in Philadelphia Nov. 1. The bags were delivered to the Shriners Hospital for Children – Philadelphia and the Saint Christopher’s Hospital for Children so the young patients had activities to do during their stay. IH division chief and Industrial Hardware Success and Partnership in Reaching Excellence mentoring program lead Joanne Anello said she includes community service activities with InSPIRE meetings to make it unique and give back to the local community.
