What is your job title, and what do you do, specifically?
I am a Customer Support Technician. As such, I perform customer support operations including processing of customer orders, backorder management, providing customers with order status updates, and performing expedited and follow-up actions, as well as research alternative sources.
What do you like most about your job?
What I like most about my job is my amazing coworkers, but most of all, I really enjoy the privilege of being able to provide support to our warfighters.
What aspect(s) of your current job gives you the most personal satisfaction? Why?
The aspect of my job that gives me the most personal satisfaction is finding surplus, filling orders and solving issues. At the end of the day, I know I’ve helped put together a piece of the big picture by getting some type of weapons system back to the fleet or in the air.
If you could speak directly to the warfighters you support, what would you tell them?
If I could speak directly to the warfighters we support, I would tell them thank you! You’ve chosen to do something great to support/protect the greatest country on earth. For that I am thankful to have the opportunity to support you!
What are some of your passions outside of work?
Some of my passions outside of work are helping others and being active in my community, but most of all spending time with my family. My wife and four children are definitely my top priority.
What’s the most thrilling/adventurous thing you have ever done?
I would have to say the most thrilling/adventurous thing I’ve ever done was earning the title of US Marine!
What is your favorite military aircraft? Why?
It’s so hard to choose a favorite aircraft when you enjoy aviation as much as I do. However, if I had to choose one, it would probably be the KC-10. The ability to transport freight and provide in-flight fuel to other aircraft while on missions is pretty impressive.
What is your proudest accomplishment?
My proudest accomplishment would have to be becoming a father! I love and care for my family very much. They are my true drive and they are my world!
