RICHMOND, Va. –
Defense Logistics Agency Aviation Commander Air Force Brig. Gen. Sean Tyler spent two days meeting those who support the warfighters at DLA Aviation at Warner Robins, Georgia, Sept. 7 and 8. DLA Aviation at Warner Robins Commander Air Force Col. Brian Mayer hosted Tyler during his visit.
The DLA Aviation team at Warner Robins is responsible for supporting the Air Force’s Air Logistic Complex on Robins Air Force Base with parts and maintenance to keep aircraft like the Air Force’s C-130, C-5 and C-17 transport planes, as well as F-15 Eagle fighter jets and special operations aircraft, in the air.
During his visit, Tyler toured four of the major depot locations on Robins Air Force Base and coined four Aviation employees for their outstanding job performances.
