Defense Logistics Agency Aviation Customer Operations Directorate’s Mapping Division will host an open house Sept. 28 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the U.S. Army Forces Command Intelligence Readiness and Operations Center on Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
The FIROC, which opened Aug. 1, is a full-service facility offering pre-positioned hardcopy and digital retail products in support of training, planning, and deployments, as well as unique aviation products supporting these missions. Counter service will be available to customers on Fort Bragg and in the surrounding area for all products and specialized items including those that can be printed on-site, on demand at the FIROC.
During the open house, customers will be able to tour the new forward-positioned map facility and have the opportunity to meet DLA team members who will provide a single point-of-access for mapping logistical support. In addition to ordering assistance and fulfillment, team members will provide training for establishing and maintaining customer accounts, help customers learn how to use the DLA Map Catalog for ordering products, become familiar with DoD EMALL and Web Requisitioning (WEBREQ), understand how to establish requirements, and many other topics tailored to a customer’s specific needs.
Light refreshments will be served.
