Evacuated DLA employee helps ensure food deliveries to North Carolina bases during Florence

PHILADELPHIA — Pama Hamlett, a customer support specialist with DLA Troop Support, was forced to leave her home to seek shelter with her daughter, but not without her work computer and phone in tow.

DLA Distribution initiates mapping operations at Fort Bragg

FORT BRAGG, North Carolina — On August 16, DLA Distribution’s newest operation, DLA Distribution Mapping at Fort Bragg, delivered its first shipment, consisting of four topographic maps for mission planning, to local customers.

Warfighter Support Initiative brings DLA to the customers

The Defense Logistics Agency took to the road, traveling to Fort Bragg, North Carolina, in support of the Warfighter Support Initiative, March 22-23. DLA employees from 11 divisions brought face-to-face engagement to the logistics community of Fort Bragg and other military installations, to educate and inform them about how to better use DLA’s services and capabilities.
