Sergeant Carisa C. Blanc currently serves as the Group Superintendent/Senior Enlisted Advisor, Defense Logistics Agency Joint Reserve Force, Fort Belvoir, Virginia. She provides policy advice, guidance, and recommendations on matters affecting 127 Air Force Individual Mobilization Augmentees assigned throughout the United States and overseas. Additionally, Sergeant Blanc serves as one of the principle advisors to the Director on all matters concerning the health, morale and welfare of 642 Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps Reservists assigned to the Joint Reserve Force.

 

Sergeant Blanc enlisted into active duty Air Force in July 1996 as a Personnel Apprentice.  She started her career at Lackland Air Force Base where she served in various positions culminating as the Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge of the Commander Support Staff at the 37th Mission Support Squadron. In 2001, she was selected for a special duty assignment to Headquarters Air Force, Pentagon, Washington, District of Columbia. In this capacity, she was responsible for managing enlisted evaluations, promotions, and awards and decorations. In 2005, Sergeant Blanc separated from active duty and enlisted into the Air Force Individual Mobilization Augmentee program.

In her civilian capacity, she serves as the Military Personnel Liaison in the Defense Logistics Agency Logistics Operations Directorate. Prior to assuming her current position, she was the Superintendent, Air Force Review Boards Agency, Joint Base Andrews, Maryland.
