Determining Renewal Agreement Travel

Currently Serving on Initial Tour

Are you currently serving on a civilian transportation agreement (DD Form 1617)? (If yes - continue to #2; if no - then you may not be authorized, check with your personnel liaison)
Have you completed your current tour (tour of less than 36 months) or are you within 6 months of completion of a 36 month tour? (If yes - continue to #3; if no - not authorized)
Has your overseas tour of duty been extended for 24 additional months or tour length specified in the Joint Travel Regulations? (If yes - continue to #4; if no – not authorized)
Upon return from your travel (actual date of return), will there be at least 12 months remaining on the extension provided? (If yes – submit travel requirement sheet; if no - not authorized)

*Note: prior to issuance of travel orders, you will be required to enter into a new transportation agreement

Have you negotiated or been authorized travel/transportation entitlement as a civilian? (If yes - continue to #2; if no - then you may not be authorized, check with your personnel liaison)
Have you completed your current tour of duty or are within 2 months of completion of a 24 months tour of duty area? (If yes - continue to #3; if no - not authorized)
Has your overseas tour of duty been extended for 24 additional months or or tour length specified in the Joint Travel Regulations? (If yes - continue to #4; if no – not authorized)
Upon return from your travel (actual date of return), will there be at least 12 months remaining on the extension provided? (If yes – submit travel requirement sheet; if no - not authorized)
