Indo-Pacific partners meet to discuss fuel exchange agreements

HONOLULU — Over 60 representatives from around the Indo-Pacific region met to discuss reciprocal fuel exchanges, interoperability and partnerships during the inaugural DLA Energy Indo-Pacific Fuels Exchange Agreements Forum in Honolulu Nov. 7-9.

The first Canadian military officer to serve with DLA as part of a military exchange program is about to wrap up her three-year tour.

Canadian officer departs agency with American allegiance in her heart

A Canadian Army major will soon complete her tour as the first officer from her nation to serve at DLA as part of a U.S./Canadian military exchange program.

DLA employee receives Canadian Meritorious Service Medal

Washington, DC — DLA’s Eugene Shearer received Canada’s Meritorious Service Medal on Dec. 15 for his contributions as chief of the Combined Joint Logistics Branch of Regional Command South, Afghanistan, in 2010 and 2011, while serving as a colonel in the U.S. Army.
