Navy Capt. Jason Adams is currently assigned as the Commander, Defense Logistics Agency Pacific. He enlisted from Lancaster, California. After completing Navy Nuclear Program Training and while assigned to PCU John C. Stennis (CVN 74), he was awarded a Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps scholarship. He received his commission after completing his bachelor of science in political science at the University of Utah. Adams holds a master’s degree in operations research from the Naval Postgraduate School and a master of business administration from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.  He is a member of the Defense Acquisition Corps, with certifications in Life Cycle Logistics, Program Management and Cost Estimation.

Adams’ operational tours include supply officer aboard USS Hartford (SSN 768) and USS George H. W. Bush (CVN 77), and supply readiness officer aboard USS Essex (LDH 2). He also served a combat tour of duty at Al Asad, Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Adams has served ashore as aviation supply officer, Naval Air Station Norfolk; Director of Aviation Operations Research, Naval Inventory Control Point Philadelphia; functional requirements lead and contracting officer’s representative, Defense Logistics Agency Headquarters; deputy force supply officer and F-35 supply requirements officer, Commander Naval Air Forces Atlantic, director of supply chain management, F-35 Lightning II Joint Program Office; and most recently as executive assistant to the F-35 Lightning II Joint Program Office program executive officer

His personal awards include the Defense Superior Service Medal, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Navy Meritorious Service Medal (three awards), Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (four awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, Navy Good Conduct Medal, and various unit and sea service awards. He is qualified Naval Aviation Supply Officer, Surface Warfare Supply Corps Officer, Submarine Supply Corps Officer and Fleet Marine Force Qualified Officer.
