Angel A. Colon
Angel A. Colon is the DLA Pacific deputy commander, headquartered in Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii. Colon shares in the overall management and direction of DLA Pacific supply chain programs, and acts as DLA’s focal point in representing the agency to the commander, U.S. Pacific Command, U.S. Forces Korea, U.S. Forces Japan, Alaskan Command and other military service theater commanders and supported activities. Previously, he served as the Deputy Director for DLA Troop Support Europe & Africa, headquartered in Kaiserslautern, Germany. He oversaw the procurement of food, clothing and textiles, construction and equipment, pharmaceuticals, medical supplies and equipment, and industrial hardware items for America’s Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines throughout Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
A native of Brooklyn, New York, Colon enlisted in the Air Force in June 1980. He finished his 25-year career as a master craftsman in logistics readiness. He is a graduate of Central Michigan University with a master of science in administration with emphasis in public administration. He is also certified Level I in acquisition management.

Colon's positions as a civil servant include marketing and logistics specialist, DLA Troop Support Pacific Region Pearl Harbor, Hawaii; forward logistics specialist embedded with the 25th Infantry Division Department of Logistics, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii; and deputy commander of operations, DLA Troop Support Pacific Region, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii.
Colon’s military awards and decorations include three Meritorious Service Medals; five Air Force Commendation Medals; Joint Service Achievement medal; two Air Force Achievement Medals; the Air Force National Image, Incorporated Meritorious Service Award; Air Force Staff Supply NCO of the Year; HQs PACAF Senior Noncommissioned Officer of the Year; and HQs PACAF, Logistics Readiness Division, Lance P. Sijan Leadership Award. His civilian awards include two DLA Superior Civilian Service Awards.
