DLA Distribution celebrates Earth Day 2016

NEW CUMBERLAND, Pennsylvania — Earth Day is an annual event, celebrated on April 22, on which events are held worldwide to demonstrate support for environmental protection and sustainability. Earth Day was first celebrated in 1970, and is now coordinated globally by the Earth Day Network, and celebrated in more than 193 countries each year.

CAMP CARROLL, Korea — Sang-Hwan So, a supply technician inspector at Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Korea, retired after 43 years of federal service, eight of which have been with DLA Distribution Korea in March 2016.

SAN JOAQUIN, California — Chuepheng Lo was named chief of police of the Defense Logistics Agency San Joaquin Police Department, becoming the first person of Hmong descent to be at the helm of a law enforcement department in the United States.
