Defense Supply Center Richmond, Virginia, employees celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with an opening ceremony Sept. 26, 2017 in the Lotts Conference Center. The guest speaker was Miguel Zayas, division chief of the Procure-to-Pay Process Cycle Integration, Defense Logistics Agency Acquisition, Fort Belvoir, Virginia. Zayas emphasized volunteering for difficult jobs and his determination to excel at each task, no matter how menial, have been the keys to his successes.

DLA Distribution Susquehanna, Pennsylvania, along with DLA Distribution’s Multicultural Committee, celebrated the culture, traditions and history of Hispanic Heritage Month with a program held on Wednesday, Sept. 20. This year’s theme, chosen by the National Council of Hispanic Employment Managers is: “Hispanic Americans: Energizing Our Nation’s Diversity.”
