DLA Energy establishes new fuel support arrangement with Australia to fortify Pacific readiness
FORT BELVOIR, Va. — The Defense Logistics Agency Energy further solidified its commitment to strengthening allied partnerships by establishing a new fuel support arrangement with the Australian Fuel Capability Branch. Both the DLA Energy Commander Rear Adm. George Bresnihan and Australian Brigadier Mark Baldock, director general of Fuel Capabilities both signed the agreement, which is effective as of Aug. 1, 2026.

Shawnar Thomas received recognition for injuries sustained in support of the U.S. Central Command mission during a rapid aerial attack March 1.
