DLA Distribution Europe Commander recognizes local German firefighters

KAISERSLAUTERN, Germany — Firefighters from Lingenfeld and Germersheim fire departments were recognized with special coins and certificates of appreciation by the U.S. Army Aug. 21 for their recent emergency response efforts to a fire last month at Germersheim Army Depot.

DLA Disposition Services comes through for soldiers in rural Poland, helping them outfit austere field exercise conditions with excess furniture and gym equipment.

DLA forward presence enhances commodity, service support during Saber Strike

U.S. forces in the Baltics and Poland for Saber Strike 2018 have easier access to critical supplies like food, fuel and repair parts with the deployment of Defense Logistics Agency personnel to Powidz, Poland.
