Former garrison commander shares story of resilience

Gregory Gadson told Defense Logistics Agency employees during a Warfighter Talk at McNamara Headquarters Complex Nov. 17. The former Fort Belvoir garrison commander spoke on resilience and his commitment to the values he learned during his time in the military.

DLA service members share holiday spirit with local veterans

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Nearly a dozen service members from Defense Logistics Agency Weapons Support (Columbus) took a break from their usual duties on Nov. 21 to take on a different mission – serving meals at a Veterans Affairs Thanksgiving Luncheon held at the American Legion Post 144 on the south side of the city.

DLA establishes new subordinate command for weapon systems support

FORT BELVOIR, Va. — The Defense Logistics Agency today announced the stand up of a new major subordinate command dedicated to supplying spare and repair parts to the military services. DLA Weapons Support integrates the missions of DLA Aviation and DLA Land and Maritime into a single unified command responsible for weapon systems support to the joint force.

Troop Support to Begin Processing 2026 Passover Kosher Meal Orders

PHILADELPHIA — The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support Subsistence supply chain is now accepting orders for Kosher for Passover meals to support warfighters stationed around the globe for Passover 2026. Orders will be accepted from October 1 to December 15, 2025. Passover in 2026 runs from April 1 – 9.
