DLA Land and Maritime annual awards recipients honored

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime winners of DLA’s 57th Annual Employee Recognition Awards Program were honored Jan. 23 at the McNamara Headquarters Complex at Fort Belvoir, Virginia, in a ceremony presided by DLA Director Army Lt. Gen. Mark Simerly.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — When Bishop Watterson High School Head Football Coach Brian Kennedy's isn't on the sidelines, he is Post Award Division chief for the Strategic Acquisition Programs Directorate at Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime. The team broke a school record for the most wins in a season on their way to a state title last month.

Bugle calls begin January 6: DSCC to join in age-old military tradition

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Reveille and Retreat are played at military installations around the world to pay respect to our nation’s colors and the brave men and women who have fought for our freedom. The bugle calls, paired with “To the Color” and the National Anthem, are firmly rooted in military history. Defense Supply Center Columbus will join in this military tradition over the outdoor broadcast system beginning Jan. 6.
