PHILADELPHIA — DLA Troop Support Subsistence supply chain employees hosts annual chili cook-off Nov.7 in Philadelphia. The event was held to promote the 2018 Combined Federal Campaign season at DLA Troop Support and encourage employees to donate money or time to a charity or nonprofit organizations of their choice.

PHILADELPHIA — Retired Army Master Sgt. Bill Kaemmer served as the keynote speaker during the Philadelphia Compound Veterans Committee’s annual Veteran’s Day observance, Nov. 5, 2018 at DLA Troop Support Philadelphia. Kaemmer shared the story of four United States Army chaplains who gave their lives to save those of civilian and military personnel during the sinking of the United States Army Troop Ship Dorchester on Feb. 3, 1943 during World War II.

KAISERSLAUTERN, Germany — DLA is a truly unique assignment for any service member, and especially for one assuming command. But shortly after Lt. Col. Sherdrick Rankin learned he was to command DLA Troop Support Europe & Africa, he realized how little he new about the agency.

More than a century of service recognized at Troop Support retirement ceremony

PHILADELPHIA — The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support honored three employees for their 110 years of combined federal service during a retirement ceremony Oct. 25. Debra Tillman, Mary Newell and Bernice Eaddy-Brown, each with more than 30 years of federal service, were recognized for their contributions to the agency.
