The installation minimizes solid waste generation through source reduction, recycling, reuse or composting. COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Safety and Occupational Health Division will host the OSHA Safe + Sound Safety Campaign, an interactive, informational fair, Aug. 14 from 11a.m. -1p.m. in the Operations Center Buckeye and Cardinal rooms at the Defense Supply Center Columbus. The annual event is held to raise awareness and understanding of the value of safety and health programs as part of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s nationwide campaign.

Faith services offered at DSCC

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Chaplain Liaisons provide encouragement to employees in support of the spiritual pillar of the DLA Land and Maritime Resiliency Program under the People and Culture Directorate. Bible Class and Prayer Warriors groups formed at DSCC in the late 1990’s by a small group of employees and a volunteer Chaplain Liaison of the Christian faith.

PaCER Proteges save the government time and money

COLUMBUS, Ohio — In the midst of the current DLA cash crunch, two DLA Land and Maritime associates have indirectly developed a few ways to save the agency some money. DLA Demand Supply Chain Analyst Christopher Rodriguez and DLA Maritime Customer Relations Customer Account Specialist Jeffrey Day have collaborated on quite a few projects in their two-year tenure in the Pathways to Career Excellence Program (PACE) at DLA Land and Maritime Columbus, Ohio.
