DLA, Marine Corps officials refine logistics support

Weapons systems support and backorder reductions topped the agenda of the annual Marine Corps, DLA Day at McNamara Headquarters Complex June 13.

DLA forward presence enhances commodity, service support during Saber Strike

U.S. forces in the Baltics and Poland for Saber Strike 2018 have easier access to critical supplies like food, fuel and repair parts with the deployment of Defense Logistics Agency personnel to Powidz, Poland.

Army celebrates 243 years of traditions, transitions, sacrifice

Retired Army Lt. Gen. Mitchell Stevenson, former Army deputy chief of staff for logistics, reflected on the Army's contributions to the nation at a June 14 Army birthday celebration at DLA's McNamara Headquarters Complex.

Expeditionary contracting officers needed to provide global logistics support

The DLA Joint Contingency Acquisition Support Office needs contracting specialists to join its Expeditionary Contracting Cadre, a group of volunteers who deploy to establish logistics support in the initial stages of disaster relief and contingency operations around the world.

DLA's Records and Information Management program is performing an agencywide inventory of all documents that may have regulatory, legal or historical importance to the agency or the government.
