Rapid Deployment Team (RDT)
The Rapid Deployment Team (RTD) consists of Active-Duty Military and civilian subject matter experts providing DLA's logistics capabilities. The manning process takes 90-120 days, involving volunteer solicitation, team member selection, and qualification verification. RDT deployments support agency requirements in Defense Support of Civil Authorities (DSCA), Foreign Humanitarian Assistance (FHA), and Contingency Operations. Authoritative deployment documents include Immediate Response Force/Contingency Response Force (IRF/CRF), Standing Execution Order, and the DSCA Standing Execution Order. CCMD requests RDT support through a Request for Forces (RFF).
DLA Support Team (DST)
The DLA Support Team (DST) facilitates the Agency Synchronization Operations Center (ASOC) mission by focusing on deployment operations. It is part of the agency's force provider lead for managing the selection, training, and mobilization of DLA personnel to support deployments worldwide, including the agency's initial response team. The DST, along with DLA Liaison Team (DLT) and RDT, are ready to deploy on short notice to support an Area of Responsibility (AOR) to maintain worldwide, expeditionary, logistics capability to the Secretary of Defense (SECDEF). They also develop and execute materiel management training for DLA deployers supporting contingency operations.
