All travel to the Republic of Türkiye is currently restricted due to EUCOM Force Protection conditions and transportation will be accomplished only on official military missions arriving directly to Incirlik Air Base (city of Adana is off limits). Last updated on 26 April 2016.
All official travel must be approved and conducted in accordance with Foreign Clearance Guide (FCG) and EUCOM requirements
Recommend all US personnel located at Geographically Supported Units (GSUs) within, or coming to the Republic of Türkiye to contact us directly at above phone numbers for any support requirements.
Gate Access to Incirlik Air Base is strictly controlled and personnel must have a Gate Pass for entry. The same applies for equipment being brought on base and/or taken off base. Please contact us for assistance.
Major Items of Equipment (MIE) and/or vehicles: if importing or exporting MIE to include vehicles then you must have Turkish Defense Authorization (TDA) approval from Turkish General Staff (TGS) prior to shipping. We will coordinate the TDA approval but it can take 4–6 weeks for approval.
As of 11 April 2014, you are required to obtain an e-Visa online before you travel
In addition, DOD military travelers will have NATO Orders AF IMT 1631 with "BLUE Stamp."
