COLUMBUS, Ohio — Defense Logistics Agency Director Navy Vice Adm. Michelle Skubic visited DLA Land and Maritime at the Defense Supply Center Columbus on June 1 for an in-person round table discussion regarding business operations and how they will be integrated into DLA’s new Strategic Plan.

Land and Maritime electronics engineer Taysa Markus featured in latest DLA Rap episode

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Meet Taysa Markus, a shining star at DLA Land and Maritime, in the latest episode of the DLA Rap produced by DLA Headquarters. Markus defines resiliency. At the end of the Vietnam War, her family took on hardship, adversity and trauma and persevered. Today Markus is an electronics engineer with Land and Maritime’s Engineering and Technical Support Directorate.

DLA civilian, Army reservist promoted to brigadier general

LOS ANGELES — Army Reserve Col. John M. Dreska, a civilian Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime division chief, was promoted to the rank of brigadier general April 11 and assumed command of the Los Angeles-based 311th Expeditionary Sustainment Command.

Land and Maritime Electronics Product Testing Lab gets new battery evaluation capability

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime expanded the capacity of its Electronics Product Test Center with the grand opening of a new in-house battery testing facility Oct. 26. Progressing from a vision more than 10 months ago the new facility is the tangible result of a lengthy team process purposed to improve operational efficiency while also saving money.
