Oklahoma City’s Freed awarded Global Distribution Excellence: Inventory Management Civilian of the Year

OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma — Lance Freed, a general supply specialist with the Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Oklahoma City, Okla., has been awarded the Global Distribution Excellence: Inventory Management Civilian of the Year Award for his contributions to the distribution center’s inventory accuracy and performance.

Armando “Bud” Budomo, facilities manager at DLA Distribution San Diego, Calif., completed the Department of Defense Operation Warfighter program.

San Diego employee participates in the DoD Operation Warfighter Program

SAN DIEGO, California — Armando “Bud” Budomo dedicated 21 years of his life to serving his country. The decision to retire from the United States Marine Corps was not one taken lightly, without thought to the future. After careful consideration, the newly retired major made the decision to apply to the Department of Defense Operation Warfighter program, with the goal of gaining experience to find a permanent home in the Department of Defense civilian workforce.

YOKOSUKA, Japan — Hirokazu Tokunaga has been named Global Distribution Excellence: Vehicle/Materiel Handling Equipment Management Civilian Supervisor of the Year for his focus on customer service and safety.
