NEW CUMBERLAND, Pa. — Lifecycle Management Division Representatives of the South Korea Ministry of Defense was presented the DLA Distribution command brief and given a tour of the Eastern Distribution Center in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania July 19.

Yokosuka distribution center hosts training event for Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force officers

YOKOSUKA, Japan — DLA Distribution Yokosuka, Japan provided a training engagement for 28 Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force officers on DLA business concepts and the distribution center operations during a visit to the distribution center on June 11.

After learning about resources, veterans receive surplus military items provided to Veterans Affairs from DLA Disposition Services.

Marines innovating expeditionary fuel additization

CHARLESTON, S.C. — Although there are more than 600 U.S. Defense Fuel Support Points located around the world, sourcing military specification fuel in an expeditionary environment on short notice or in small quantities sometimes proves challenging. To help find a solution, the U.S. Marine Corps Expeditionary Energy Office partnered with DLA Energy to test a commercial-off-the-shelf injection capability at DFSP Charleston.
