NORFOLK, Virginia — United States Navy Supply Corps Capt. Andrew M. Matthews assumed command of DLA Distribution Norfolk, Virginia, in a July 14 ceremony officiated by DLA Distribution commanding general Army Brig. Gen. John S. Laskodi.

Saplay Seke, a business process analyst in DLA Troop Support’s audit readiness office, facilitated a process-improvement event to address an issue related to how DLA employees communicate the status of transactions in their business software. PHILADELPHIA — Saplay Seke, a business process analyst in DLA Troop Support’s Process Compliance directorate, facilitated a series of discussions using continuous process improvement techniques to address an issue related to how DLA employees communicate the status of transactions in their business software.

Richmond, Va. — Defense Logistics Agency Aviation and Fort Lee military members honor veterans during an Independence Day ceremony held at the Dunlop House, an assisted living facility, in Colonial Heights, Virginia, July 6.

The June workshop, first in a planned series, taught participants to use JAWS software to ensure web pages are accessible.

Defense Logistics Agency participants in a recent workshop learned to use special software to ensure blind and visually impaired users can read and navigate web pages easily.

The induction ceremony will be Sept. 22 at the McNamara Headquarters Complex, Fort Belvoir, Virginia.
