Nine DLA Distribution employees to be honored at the DLA 49th Annual Employee Recognition Program

NEW CUMBERLAND, Pennsylvania — Nine DLA Distribution employees will be honored at this year’s DLA 49th Annual Employee Recognition Program ceremony. The program seeks to recognize outstanding performers in all segments of the DLA workforce.

Laura Tucker Southall, management and program analyst at DLA Distribution Richmond, Va., will retire on Jan. 3, with 40 years and 10 months of federal service.

Saving life after terrorist bombing garners Army award

Army Col. Rick Ellis, commander of the DLA support team in Afghanistan was awarded the combat action badge Nov. 26, after saving a soldier's life following a terrorist bombing.

The last of the Army Hueys fly off to active retirement
