FORT BELVOIR, Virginia — McNamara Headquarters Complex employees celebrated Black History Month Feb. 18 with songs, speeches and special guests who served during three decades of U.S. military action from World War II to Vietnam.

Tuskegee Airman, 94, honored at HQC Black History Month observance

FORT BELVOIR, Virginia — Major Anderson is one of the last remaining Tuskegee Airmen, a group of about 19,000 black Americans who served as pilots, navigators, crew chiefs, nurses, mechanics and other support staff for the B-17 and B-25 bombers during World War II.
