NEW CUMBERLAND, Pa. — The Defense Distribution Center, Susquehanna Child and Youth Program hosted a special Month of the Military Child performance and parade April 3 on the New Cumberland installation.

NEW CUMBERLAND, Pennsylvania — Almost 1.9 million children in the United States have a military parent, and April is designated as the Month of the Military Child, highlighting the important role military children play in the armed forces community. The Month of the Military Child is an opportunity to recognize military children and youth for their heroism, character, courage, sacrifices and continued resilience.
