San Diego Distribution center participates in Operation Warfighter internship program

SAN DIEGO, Calif. — DLA Distribution San Diego, California, in conjunction with the Department of Defense’s Operation Warfighter internship program, recently hosted Navy Petty Officers Heather Fournier and Christine Broadhurst.

(Seated) Operation Warfighter Program Member Army Sgt. Palestine Fox learns about her new role as a DLA Energy program analyst and master planner from her on-the-job trainer, Logistics Management Specialist Christine Guillen, who will be Fox's primary trainer, providing guidance and shadowing until Fox is ready to take on the job herself. DLA Energy is one of the first organizations to hire a wounded warrior through the Operation Warfighter Program.
