New DLA mapping process saves money, time while improving support

DLA Information Operations must provide a copy of each of its 165,000-plus maps, charts and other products to the Library of Congress. A DLA team, working with the LOC and the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, developed a new way to do so that will save taxpayers about $800,000 in the next five years, while making these products more accessible.

Records overhaul helps agency comply with Archives standards

DLA Installation Operations personnel in San Joaquin, California, recently organized and preserved what had been 350 boxes of improperly stored records, to ensure compliance with requirements and continued availability of the information in the documents.
