Wolfe takes over Human Resources at Aviation

On a sunny, but cool late March afternoon, Theresa Wolfe’s face beamed as she basked in the warmth of the sun’s rays provided through the windows of her first floor office in the Defense Logistics Agency Aviation Operations Center on Defense Supply Center Richmond, Virginia. It was one of the rare moments of down time she’s been able to take since taking over as the head of Human resources for DLA Aviation less than two months ago.

The Navy's first strike-fighter, the F/A-18 Hornet, has been involved in every major U.S. military conflict since the 1980s. The twin engine, mid-wing, multi-mission tactical aircraft made its combat debut with strikes against Libya. While the Marines will continue to fly the F/A-18 A-D legacy model Hornets through 2023, the Navy is actively transitioning to F/A-18 E/F model Super Hornets exclusively and projecting to fly them through at least 2050.
