RICHMOND, Va. — The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation at Oklahoma City team welcomed their new commander during a change of command ceremony June 6 at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma. Air Force Brig. Gen. Sean Tyler, DLA Aviation commander, oversaw the ceremony where Air Force Lt. Col. Katrina Smith took charge of the DLA Aviation industrial support activity from Air Force Col. Robert Magee.

Leigh Method, Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Logistics, presents Army Lt. Col. Timothy Owens, commander, Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Corpus Christi, and Jeremy Beckwith, deputy commander, DDCT, the 2023 the National Institute of Packaging, Handling and Logistics Engineers Corporate/Agency of the Year Award on behalf of the DDCT Preservation, Packaging, Packing and Marking Team. Beckwith also received a Logistics Lifetime Achievement Award for his contributions to the DoD logistics enterprise via his technical expertise and selfless leadership during his 28-year military and civilian career.

NEW CUMBERLAND, Pa. — Navy Rear Adm. Grafton D. Chase, Jr., relinquished command of Defense Logistics Agency Distribution to Navy Rear Adm. Michael A. York, during a change of command ceremony Friday, May 31. Army Lt. Gen. Mark Simerly, director, Defense Logistics Agency, officiated the ceremony.
