Korea’s O awarded Global Distribution Excellence: Administrative Support Performance of the Year

CAMP CARROLL, South Korea — Hyon Yong O, a process improvement specialist at Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Korea has been awarded the DLA Distribution Global Distribution Excellence Administrative Support Performance of the Year award.

Distribution’s airborne riggers: Support on the ground and in the air

NEW CUMBERLAND, Pennsylvania — Among the boxes, air pallets, and trucks at Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Susquehanna, Pa., there is a unique team tucked in the midst: DLA’s only parachute rigger unit. The team’s set of responsibilities is unlike any other; not only do they provide mission receiving support like other distribution centers, they also provide parachute pack and maintenance activities for units across all military services.

DLA Distribution celebrates Vietnam War 50th anniversary

NEW CUMBERLAND, Pennsylvania — To kick off its participation in a federal, 13-year long commemoration of those that served during the Vietnam War, DLA Distribution hosted veterans Sgt. (Ret.) Joseph Boslet and re-enactor Timothy Meade from the U.S. Army Heritage Center in Carlisle, Pa.
