VIENTIANE, Laos — A Defense Logistics Agency Energy Pacific at Guam quality assurance representative’s initiative and expertise recently enabled timely support of presidential aircraft Air Force One in the nation of Laos.

DLA Energy assists Arlington National Cemetery with electricity distribution system

ARLINGTON, Virginia — Defense Logistics Agency Energy members met with Dominion Virginia Power leaders to follow up on the progress of projects at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia, Aug. 31.

Employees celebrate women’s right to vote

FORT BELVOIR, Virginia — Defense Logistics Agency employees gathered to celebrate women’s right to vote and commemorate their struggles and triumphs to gain what today is a fundamental right for Americans during a Women’s Equality Day event held at the McNamara Headquarters Complex, Fort Belvoir, Virginia, Aug. 24.

John Vanderstigchel, DLA Joint Reserve Force, performs a visual inspection on a quart sample of F-76 diesel marine fuel for the DLA Energy Pacific laboratory for quality assurance purposes during RIMPAC 2016. DLA Energy Pacific supports RIMPAC 2016

PEARL HARBOR, Hawaii — Defense Logistics Agency Energy Pacific reservists recently conducted annual training while providing critical support to this year’s Rim of the Pacific exercise, June 30 – Aug. 4.

PACIFIC OCEAN (July 29, 2016) – Sailors assigned to the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Shoup (DDG 86) conduct an underway replenishment with the Military Sealift Command fleet replenishment oiler USNS Rappahannock (T-AO 204), during Rim of the Pacific 2016. Twenty-six nations, more than 40 ships and submarines, more than 200 aircraft and 25,000 personnel are participating in RIMPAC from June 30 to Aug. 4, in and around the Hawaiian Islands and Southern California. The world's largest international maritime exercise, RIMPAC provides a unique training opportunity that helps participants foster and sustain the cooperative relationships that are critical to ensuring the safety of sea lanes and security on the world's oceans. RIMPAC 2016 is the 25th exercise in the series that began in 1971.
